Are you bored of the default WhatsApp background behind all of your chat messages? Then you can definitely change the WhatsApp wallpaper, and set it to according to your preference. For example, you can make your chat screen more personal by using your own personal pictures. This post shows, how you can change the wallpaper for your WhatsApp chats in Android.
To change WhatsApp background image for all chats, follow the steps;
1. Open WhatsApp, and tap the three-dotted menu icon on the top right corner of your screen.
2. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Chats’ > ‘Wallpaper’.
Now, you’ll see these three options from where you can choose wallpaper,
Gallery – Choose an image from your camera roll or downloads.
Solid Color – This option shows different colors to choose from and set as wallpaper.
Wallpaper Library – To use images from WhatsApp wallpaper library, you need to download the wallpaper package first. To do so, tap this option > install the ‘WhatsApp Wallpaper‘ app > come back and tap ‘Wallpaper Library’ again. Now, you’ll see many wallpapers.
3. Find and tap the image that you prefer. You will see a chat preview with that image in the background. If you’re Okay with that, select ‘SET’, and you’re done.
Now, if you want to revert to the default wallpaper, simply follow the above steps and choose ‘Default’ at last step. You can also choose ‘No Wallpaper’ option if you don’t want any pre-loaded background behind all your chats.
