① Using Nova Launcher

If you are running Nova Launcher instead of Samsung’s default launcher (TouchWiz), you can access the notification log. So, set Nova as your phone’s default launcher, then follow the steps below.

Step 1: Go to the home screen on your Samsung phone and long press on an empty space. Doing so will reveal three options at the bottom of the screen – Wallpapers, Widgets, and Settings. Select the ‘Widgets’ option.

Step 2: In the Nova Launcher section, tap and hold the ‘Activities’ widget and drop it on the home screen. It will automatically open a list of all app activities. You should scroll down through the list and select ‘Settings’ ➯ ‘Notification log’.

Step 3: As soon as you select the ‘Notification log’ option, a shortcut of it will be placed on your home screen. Now all you have to do is just tap on the ‘Notification log’ shortcut, and you’ll be taken to the past notifications list.

② Using the Notification History Log app
